1. What we collect
- Account data. The name, email address, and NPI you enter at signup, and the name of your practice.
- EHR credentials. The username and password you give Aurora to read your EHR system. Aurora stores the password encrypted.
- Practice data. The billing and practice-management figures Aurora reads from your EHR system, such as charges, payments, and accounts-receivable balances.
- Usage data. Standard server logs and the record of actions taken in the application.
2. Why we collect it
JARALL Medical Management, LLC ("JARALL Medical") uses this data to operate Aurora for you: to build your reports, to support your account, and to bill your subscription.
3. Aggregate benchmarks
If you turn on the benchmark option, Aurora includes your figures in the aggregate benchmarks other practices see. Aurora publishes only aggregate numbers. A benchmark never identifies your practice, your physicians, or any patient. You can turn the option off at any time in your settings.
4. Who sees your data
Only the JARALL Medical staff who operate Aurora can see your practice data, and only to run the service or to answer your support request. JARALL Medical does not sell your data and does not share it for advertising.
Aurora runs on third-party infrastructure providers that store and process the data on our behalf. Those providers are bound by their contracts with us.
5. How long we keep it
JARALL Medical keeps your practice data while your account is active. After you cancel, you can ask us to delete it. Write to support@jarallmedical.com.
6. Your choices
- Turn the benchmark option on or off in your settings.
- Revoke the EHR credentials at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it.
7. Security
Aurora encrypts EHR credentials at rest, hashes account passwords, and serves every page over TLS. No system is perfectly secure. Tell us immediately if you think your account is compromised.
